Rhoads Bass =D

Just Finished watch my Kreator DVD and saw there bass player with a black rhoads (sharkfin inlay with a reverse headstock) bass? When did they stop making these babys. Is it an import/USA? My bass player has been searching all around for one with no luck..

any info would be appreciated fellas

That bass was sold on Saturday for $2.8k [img]/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]

Did they actually have a rhoads bass line or does my guy need to go custom for one?

The Custom Shop is your only option. I think the only non-'concert' bass made (besides the Anti-Gravities) was the Kelly Bass.

From when I last saw (2 min ago), they still have the Rhoads bass in the Jackson Stars site. Looks sick, let us know if u decide on it.

I tried custom shop for a quote and that $2.8k didn't look bad (really). If you try and get the same setup as that rhoads above, you'd spend at least $3.5k

All i gotta say is ...wtf?

There prices are high (at least for my broke ass). My bass player thought so too. I told him about that rhoads line in japan. I wonder If he'd save cash if he were to import one of there rhoads over here. Anyone have a direct link to any Japanese warehouses/stores etc?

I'd approximate $1100 for the Japanese Stars line Rhoads bass, but there's a dealer the guys on the Imports board knows about. Ishabi or some hoojamijigi like that is the dealer....??
