• Kelly goes stereo...

So, I went a bit mad...you know how it is - new guitar, you feel it needs to be spoilt a little....

...so - I went and got a second Marshall mini-stack for her...

I think my wife is going to kill me!

      Re: Kelly goes stereo...

Well, the head is rated at 15W but I see nothing on the cabs or the head or the instructions saying the rating of the speakers...all they say is that the head must connect to a min of 8ohms.

I tell you - I have never laughed so much. It is such a cool set-up for a bedroom amp. The thing is that they shound great too - even more so now I can get stereo modulation effects....they are brilliant!!

I was thinking.. in theory if you connected a 50w tube head to all 4 cabs wouldn't it push more air than a 2x12? It loosk coo lthats why i considered it.. hahaha

I reckon it would work....at the end of the day you just turn it up slow and kill it at the first hint of distortion...

That's cool! Imagine how a complete wall of those would look. I used to have a Lead 12 Marshall micro stack. I bought it in 87 or 88. It was red and had 10's in the cabs.
I traded it off a couple years ago. I sure do miss it!

That guitar is HUGE! Is that the one they built on the Discovery channel last month?

You will need 3 more to rock the Wembley Arena.

Nice pic bro. How loud are those little stacks? Could you gig with a set up like that or is it a bedroom/home only type of rig?

They are not quiet....but at 30W for the pair I think you would be pushing to gig with it unless you mic'd them.
