I think it is the G&G cases man. My 01 was in one of these and got fukked, no damage to the case either. The headstock tip lays dangerously close to the bottom of the case in a G&G and that is the problem. When I got my 2nd 01 I had it shipped to me in an SKB case to try to help avoid this and it worked.Scott
