I can tell a definate difference between the two. They both sound great, but this one has a thicker sound than the first. Same pups, same wood, ect.....weird. It's got a real sweet spot in the 12th to 16 fret area. Flip on the neck pup, and it's nice & warm. I'd love to see Jackson offer these in the PC1 colors.....Chlorine! [img]graemlins/drool2.gif[/img] Maybe even an archtop trem model [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]
