Thought I'd post something a little fun here.
My local guitar dealer/tech is a guy named Johnny Z. He's got a small little shop that usually has a few Jacksons, a few Deans, and a hodge podge of used and new gear. He also handles a lot of repairs and set ups for bands in the Syracuse area. Best of all, he's just a cool guy who likes talking about guitars and music. He even has these weekly jams that last way into the night.
Anyway, he's just up the road from the local Daddy's Junky Music, so I thought I'd help him out with some marketing/advertising. (I own an ad agency.) It would benefit him, it would benefit us creatives (since making ads for a guitar store is way cooler than making ads for widgets.)
Being the cool bro he is, Johnny told me to go for it. So here's what we came up with. We figured since he sold gear, gave lessons, and did repairs, he was more than just a music store: He was one-stop shopping for anyone who wanted to live the dream and learn to rock.
Here's what we did for him. If you can't read the copy at the bottom, it says "Equipment. Lessons. Repairs. And everything else you need to know about rockin.'"
