Demand for Harley Davidsons has gone through the roof over the past few years and their quality has improved dramatically from what they were doing prior to that. A company that doesn't prepare for increased production needs will suffer. We're ready.

I mean if quantity go up, QUALITY HAS TO COME DOWN. You can't have BOTH. It just not going to happen. I don't play POS guitars.

I'm not saying anything about the people at FMIC, but we might be about to see whether or not Jackson can keep the quality up as the demand goes up. All I'm saying is idea of Jackson becoming more popular is kind of a scary one because generally speaking as the demand goes up, the quality goes down. I haven't played a USA Jackson that didn't play like like a wet dream and I don't want to see the day when they don't.

If I remember correctly, demand and production of Fender guitars increased around 1985 and 1986, and I believe quality increased tenfold.

Well, Jacksons have always been excellent guitars ...

It's cool to see Jason playing Jacksons-when Kid Rock came out I always gave that dude shit because he played those Washburn can openers that looked sorta like Rhoads guitars. I'd like to see Jackson getting some guitars in the hands of metalcore bands who are picking up steam still though...ESP has got too many of those guys already.

Dude, ya know I just saw that video a few min ago and was gonna post something on it. Awsome lookin Rhoads, there's a nice shot in slow motion of the guy doing his rock star stance onstage with a red Rhoads with gold hardware. First time I've seen a Jackson on TV except on VH1's list of 50 worse songs, all from the 80's pretty much.

announcement-

it is always a plus to see new cats playing jacksons, charvels, etc. but what is truly fukkin' needed is the next eddie van halen or randy rhoads to set the world onfire and rewrite the books of music to put our beloved guitars back in the forefront. we're talkin' fender, gibson, ibanez, etc., to knock them off the heap will take one motherfukker of a gunslinger.
he's gonna have to have it all, technique, fire,
balls,melody,b-i-t-c-h- magnetism,everything,
who's it gonna be? maybe you, probably not me,
let's continue to wait and see.......
a shot in the arm of music is coming soon, you heard it right here from your pal atomic.
you're all welcome.
Not helping the situation since 1965!

I had to chime in as I saw Kenny Olsen brought up..

Kenny Olsen was playing Charvels long ago. Here is his early 80's tele, now mine . One of my favorite Charvels. Kenny's name is in the neckpocket.
