What finish is this? Which KE is that? 1 or 2?

Is it still in production? I think I'm gonna start saving my money now, because this looks killer to me!

That's an original size, big body King Kelly with cutouts. The body was downsized a little smaller, then it became downsized a third time to the smaller size we know today because of Marty Friedman. The KE1 had one pickup and was Marty's signature model, which has been out of production for quite a few years now. The KE2 is still in production, though.

that particular guitar was made last fall for eric hoffman of deicide. for one reason or another, he didn't get it. i may have the work order for it somewhere, and it eventually went to jason at dcgl. the finish is called blood drip, and from what i remember, the retail price on that guitar was $4300.00

well, that's retail price; street price would be less than that.

Man, that thing is a work of art and the Kahler looks at home there. Also, notice the big rounded neck on her, awsome!! Jack.

Seems like I don't know everything about Kelly. Its size was recuded because of Friendman? And why's that? He wasn't tough enough to carry it?
