    Hey all,
Got a chance to pick on of these up for $275.00 obo
"Charvel/Jackson 625c Acoustic/Electric Guitar - Excellent condition. Made in the late 80s. Spruce top, rosewood back and sides, rosewood bridge & fret board, and a mahogany neck - Also has a lot of beautiful abalone inlay. Electronics work great. Comes with hard case. $275 OBO"
Always liked the look of these.
Anybody have any inputs on how these play and what they go for?
He said they have like a "med" size frets.
    Thanks

They are decent but nothing special IMHO. They have pretty cheezy electronics, and the un-plugged tone lacks resonance. I'd try to get it for $200.00 or less. 275 is a little steep.

      How does the neck feel?
I don't plan on doing much plugged in stuff, so the electronics are not too important. Mostly just farting around the house type playing and taking it camping.
      More thoughts??

The necks feel ok but the fretwork is terrible. For just farting around they're good guitars, but they sound aweful unplugged. Get a full sized dreadnought like the 550. They sound much better unplugged.

          mm2002, Thanks for the input.
I'll properly wait till I can play one before I buy.
          Thanks again.

i thought about buying one for a while but after i figured out i just wanted the name i give that idea up. went with a johnson w/cutaway in lefthanded model and got it for wayyyy less that what i was goin to give for the 625.
shop around and you can find a good deal on something you like and dont mind destroying during a camping trip.
