Re: self tuning guitar

I thought about buying a guitar just to put that bridge on it. Although, it would be waaayyyy too much money. But, It would be SICK! On the fly tuning baby!

I have a catalog from them.
I once wanted one.SO I asked them to send me some informatio and they were kind to send me a catalog.
I also saw them at NAMM.
Not only changing tuning but also it keeps in tune.
It's like having tuner built in that keeps your guitar always in tune.
I just saw one used in Gold Top sold for like $3500.

OK, I just checked more detail on last guitar sold for.
It was sold for $3000.
Not bad.
I would have bought it if the fretboard color was darker but this one is a first year of Classic Les Paul in all Gold which is also rare and sell on E-bay pretty high..

Here are the actual pics of the guitar.
I want one. I shoudl get one... where is money..

Mabey a little bore oil on the fingerboard wouldn't hurt. It would still be in tune though. I don't know if I like the gold with it. But I do like being in tune. Any tuning. Anyone got any extra money they don't want? LOL

What a way to butcher a guitar. Hmm... self tuning..
Whats next? Self playing. Maybe they can come up with a Les Paul with 2 arms protruding out of the body and neck.

Re: self tuning guitar

Did you at least watch the vids? People used to say the same thing about the Floyd Rose! Jimmy Page is all over it. He used it at some live thing (can't remember what show it was) He changed tunings like, constantly. I want one. I don't think I'd cut up one of my axes for it. I'd buy one just for that bridge.

I didn't watch the video's. I was just commenting on how terribly disfigured that gold top is. I bet it was a nice guitar before it went to doctor 90210. Imagine how nasty that system would look on a strat bodied guitar. Yuk..

Re: self tuning guitar

Page used it on tour with Coverdale/Page.
Also he used on Black Crowes tour.
He has one in Gold, Pink, and Black/Red Sparkle one.
Also Joe Perry has one.

Demonstration at NAMM and video that company used to sell,
GREAT UNIT!

I agree. If I would want one I will simply buy a guitar for this stuff.
$3399 for all the system and installation.
I thought it was cheap if works perfect as they say on thier website.

I would never butcher a GIbson for it. But I would put one on one of those high end 350 dollar Agiles.
