Can someone help identify this Charvel?

I am considering trading for this guitar, but would like to know a little more about it. It's described as Vintage, but there is no serial or anything, so I can't identify it. If you all happen to know, can you please clue me in on where to look? Thanks!

personally i don't recall any american or japanese charvels that looked quite like that...the dot spacing on the 12th fret is way too wide, lack of a neckplate, etc...i'm not familiar with any other than those 2...i remember gc having some charvel stars that were made in india though...hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along and know what this is...d.m.

The guitar looks like it's trying to be a Charvel Model 3 but failing horribly. Nothing about that guitar seems authentically Charvel to me. Aside from the features that diablomozart mentioned, here are the other things I noticed:

1) The neck heel looks wrong
2) The control layout looks wrong
3) The trem, what looks like a TRS-Pro, is incorrect for Charvel
4) No scarf joint where there should be one for a Model Series Charvel neck
5) Tuners are wrong
6) Truss rod cover is the wrong shape
7) On Model Series Charvels equipped with double-locking trems, locknuts didn't exist. There was always a "behind the nut locking nut" and a proper nut separate.
8) Headstock shape is wrong

There might be other things that other people might catch, but those are the most obvious violations to me.

It's a guitar with a fake Charvel logo.  There's nothing Charvel about that guitar at all.

This is actually wrong. I have seen several model series guitars with actual lock nuts. I would say it's probably around 5-10%, but they do exist.

Every other detail I would agree 100%, this is fake. Almost looks like a westone neck/ headstock got reshaped and relogo'd.

Edit: Funnily enough, most of the model series with lock nuts are Rainbow Crackle. Not sure if that means anything.

I would agree that this is not a Charvel nor does it have any Charvel parts. The headstock shape is off and there are no screw holes in the back of the headstock from the typical Jackson/Charvel tuners. Also agree with the other items pointed out by DM and NOP. If you could get a better close-up pic of the headstock, you could look at that logo. Wouldn't surprise me if you could see an outline around it from a decal or sticker.

Pretty odd someone would want to fake an old Japanese model 3, but I agree, fake!

Nothing Charvel on that guitar even the logo is fake.
