By the way - didn't want anyone discouraged about buying a Fender after reading my post about some problems I'm having with one. The guitar is an excellent instrument (with only a little nagging problem). Fender obviously make excellent guitars and have great people supporting the brand !

I wouldn't want to take a brand new custom shop guitar apart either, even if it's just the neck/plate [img]graemlins/refuse.gif[/img]

Changing a neck plate is easier than changing strings....I would get the guitar now and change it out later.

I'd like to be one of the first to nominate Brian McDonald for President. If he's able to apply this same attitiude to politics just think what this could mean for world peace? And, maybe Jenna would serve as Vice President too?

Seriously, it's nice to see someone from the factory going out of the way to take care of customer issues. Kudos!
