Re: Charvel/Jackson wants you!!!

I emailed before I posted here. I hope Jackson puts some of the suggestions seen here into production. In particular maple fretboards! Lots of other good ideas too. Great suggestions guys AND girls.

I would imagine what they're gonna do is weed through them and the more popular suggestions will be considered.

Hey Tekky, I was doing a search for Jackson and Charvel related websites on Yahoo last night and your site was listed. I said I know that name and checked it out. Wow! Great site. You have some pretty cool guitars. Nicely constructed site too. Very Cool! Congratulations

I'd like to see more models available in 24.75 scale. It seems like you guys have got all the bases pretty much covered. FF

Ahhh, yeah, sorry it's not going anywhere. But it has changed. I replaced the neck DiMarzio DiMeola pickup with a Seymour Duncan Distortion. (zebra)

Re: Charvel/Jackson wants you!!!

affordable import guitars that have the good features of the cheaper esp/Ltd, Schecter, and I banez lines...that would mean things like neck through bodies, quality aftermarket pickups ( real emgs, anmd real duncans or Dimarzio's) nice binding and inlays, maybe even a new baritone model...

For around $600 USA the Esp/Ltd guitars offer alot in opinion...much more than the lower priced Jackson imports..

I think the Jackson USa models are probobly the best value in higher end guitars though...it's the imports that need work.

Re: Charvel/Jackson wants you!!!

I agree with a lower price on USA series jacksons, but if this was at a loss in quaility i would deffinalty not want that. I play jackson guitars but the reason these other companies are doing so well is the kids who buy them can't afford a jackson(being 17 myself I understand this all too well). Both of my jacksons are used otherwise I would have to play something gay like a BC rich.

Careful now! Don't write BCR off because of all the import Warlocks you see. This USA ASM was $350 used and has pretty much the best neck on earth.

I'm a bit late getting here, but what I'd really like to see is an affordable "stripped-down" USA model, with no bells, whistles or rear-view mirrors. Pretty much like what BC Rich did with the original Gunslinger.

1.Craftmanship.
2.More natural finishes (especially on basses).
3.Sorry, not a bass player.
On the Charvels:
1.Retro=1Hum.
2.N/A.
4.While I'm a huge fan of Floyds, we are talking "Retro" here, right? So I'd go with the brass!
