  • Bevels on a strat body?

Is it possible to have bevels done on a strat/soloist body guitar, not a rhoads or king v? Im asking because i looked in this thread http://www.jcfonline.com/ubb/noncgi/...c;f=2;t=001391 and the second guitar down was like an excellent idea for a custom shop, only id want a soloist body, but the same color theme. And I wouldnt want inlays every fret. Any of you have pictures of bevels on a soloist if you do have one like it? Thanks

Yeah, you could bevel a Strat/Soloist body. It would look funky if you did the whole outline though. Your best bet would be to do something like an SG bevel along the two sides that meld into the standard Soloist edge along the bottom and up at the cutaways.

Bevels seem to work on straight lines only - like a V. On a rounded guitar it would seem it would just be a groove on the body. In other words, it wouldn't look right. Just my opinion.

Bevels look great on a Warrior too, and there are a number of round edges that are beveled.

Yeah, like the lower edge of a Kelly.

A beveled offset double-cutaway? Wouldn't that be the Ernie Ball Petrucci model?
