Dumb idea for reverse sharkies and headstocks

Probably a stupid idea but... couldnt you just reverse a lefty? BAM! Instant reverse fins and headstock. Sure the logo is backwards and the switches and knobs are now in weird spots, but who cares? Custom shop options without custom shop prices. Hendrix did the opposite with righty guitars, so I'm guessing it would work. Anyone try this?

If you're that concerned with getting a reverse HS and Sharkies, wouldn't it bother you playin a lefty? I mean I wouldn't want to play a lefty just for the HS and sharkies... JMO...

Just take the neck off of a lefty guitar. Bolt-on, of course. And if all you play is rhythm and non-technical leads, doing the Hendrix thing would work, but if you wanted to play up on the skinny frets where you have to mash your fingers together and go Meedly Meedly Meedly Meedly MEEEEEEEE then you're s.o.l.

I don't really like the reverse of either, I'm just thinking I would get it if I get a Custom, just because you can. But for the people that like it without the cash, well...
