How much would it cost to get a single coil slot enlarged for a humbucker, an "average cost" humbucker purchased and wired and installed? I would rather have a SL2H but I'm seeing some better deals on SL1s. Does anyone even do this? Am I insane? Just get a stacked single coil. Looks like a single but acts like a humbucker.

Yea I like sl2h's better. The middle pickup was always a problem when I had a hss. Jackson should make the sl1 as a hs. More people would buy it.

I've played a Hot Rail before and many humbuckers, I like HBs better.
