"speed neck" on new Charvel - same thickness as Jackson speed neck?

Are the Charvel "speed necks" on new guitars (such as USA Select DK 24) the same thickness as Jackson's "speed neck" which is .775"-.835".

Charvel doesn't list the neck thickness so wondering if anyone has compared the two... Thanks!

Without having measured/owned them - yes they are the same.
But, remember, these things aren't made out of plastic out of a mold to guarantee dimensions. They are made of living breathing things - and hand cut, shaped, and sanded to ensure quality. Therefore, you are going to find differences in each one you pick up.

Could you imagine if we had a computer stop sanding at precisely the right size and shape, we'd get all kinds of splinters.

judging a neck by just dimensions leaves out a fairly important factor...the backshape of the neck...how thick the shoulders are makes a big difference in feel...a c shape will feel different from a flattened d shape...so i can't really say if they will feel the same...d.m.
