  • Jackson Guitar Identification - 913667

Hi, I have a Jackson 'Professional' guitar that has the serial number 913667 'made in Japan'. I was wondering what year and model this is?

    Thanks

Serial numbers don't reveal anything about the model. At best they would indicate the country of manufacture and the year.

You would need to either share photos or describe as many of its features as you can in detail.

Charvel body made for japanese markets with a jackson neck? I dont ever recall a professional series that had a archtop dinky body. Also the tremolo is a charvel jt-590 which doesnt necissarily tell its a charvel body but it might.

For that money not bad though. That body wood migh tbe ash also not 100% sure though

Looks like a Stealth besides not having the imput jack on top and the knob and switch are not right. I'd say 100% it's ash that's about the only thing besides the neck being from a professional.

Definitely a stealth, but one I might need to document later as it has several interesting things about it. Let’s assume there’s no mix matched parts:

-A HSH model was the TH1, but way later than 91 and the middle pickup on that model has the flange, this doesn't
-that’s also where the ash models come from. But aren’t those matte? This looks glossy. (Could be wrong)
-it has a JT-590 but it could have been replaced. The route looks larger in the pic, like a JT-580lp would fit originally
-There’s extra obscure Japanese domestic stealth models, but those are labeled under Grover Jackson I believe.
-definitely a j-100 in the middle, but what are the other two?

Here you go. They're not matte but not clear. Can you see what I mean about the imput and rear knob and switch?

EDIT= The DR3's were ash too and matte finished on the one I had but I've seen some that were not too. The control knob in the back and the switch angle isn't right for them either

Yes, forgot to mention before. I used to have the Pro. Anyway, The JSX 94 almost matches the body if not for pickup configuration and the ash finish and slight difference of toggle placement. So yeah, strange one..

edit: possibly European market? I’m also forgetting there are a few professional models exclusively there

Hey, I combed over some more catalogs. Are we sure this isn't a Dinky Professional AR? I's only in the 1992 catalog, very close to that 1991 date. 22 fret body with offset dots and archtop. My personal scan is too blurry to see what finish options there were but when rotated it all lines up.

Doesn't have the same Dips around the knobs, like the AR or DKMG. It does only have 22 fret neck though
