  • Ebony board on Japan and China made Jackson

Recently I've been looking at the Japan and China made Jackson Rhoads model such as MJ Series Rhoads RRT and Pro Series Rhoads RR24 Crackle and notice the ebony fretboard looks very nice. Does anyone know if they are Indonesian ebony or Indian ebony or African ebony? Jackson Guitar used to answer this kind of detailed questions and Kyle from Jackson Guitar told me it's African ebony on the U.S.A. model; however now all the queries are answered by the Fender team and they don't provide details like this. Does anyone here know the answer by chance?

    Thank you

I know some stores like thomann for example sometime puts out the species of the wood but im not sure if they do it for the board i could check. I saw they listed the board species for only 1 usa model. but didnt see on any imports however i didnt check them all.
