Anyone know if a PC-1 neck will work on a DK-2 body? I really want to buy DrakeS's neck for my project but I don't know if it will work. It would be very cool if it did though

Re: PC-1 Neck on DK-2 Body?
sure, the pc3s are made in japan! i bought one of his pc3 necks, and i really like the feel of it. however, that neck requires more attention truss rod-wise b/c of the figured woods.
awesome profile, tho. necer thought i'd like thicker necks, but i seem to.
anyway, to answer the original question, as long as your scale and fret numbers match up, you should be fine.

it's a U shape with a thickness of .855 at the 3rd. they're meaty, but not les paulish. it's bigger, but comfortable.

Same dimensions as a PC1?(USA ) I mean they both have maple necks with a figured fretboard right? I tell you, that is one instrument that the import is very close to the USA version, or so it seems. To tell you the truth, I've never played either one. I mean the import must have a thinner slab of figured maple or some notable difference."My G-Major can blow me!" - Bill

i think he means neck pocket dimensions, and yeah, you should be fine. the pc3s have pretty big slab boards. the imports are a bit thinner, and the headstock is a little different. also found it interesting that they seem to be putting a satin finish on the pc1 necks now.
