Hey....

I also belong to Charvel Central, which shares some of the same leadership between the boards.

There is a lot of "cross pollination" between the boards, and many of us are members of both. Both boards are markedly different in vibe, tempo, and style, but overall it is a good source of information and a great (if not humorous) read.

The CC does something that I think would be a good idea here, in that they have the "State of Charvel Central" or something to that effect, where the admins briefly inform the members of what is going on, what is coming up, personnel changes or what-not.

I think this would be a good way to spread the word out to the masses, and as the JCF keeps growing at a steady pace, possibly eliminate some of the workload of the admins and lone moderator to a degree, sorta like a FAQ in post form.

Just a thought, perhaps quarterly or bi-annualy or something like that.

Yeah and with the post-whoring that goes on here, you really don't want another open section [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I think what we actually need here is something to talk about rather than the same 50 questions:
-Where was my import model made (followed by) how much is it worth
-EMGs vs Duncans vs DiMarzios vs whoever
-Anybody got a pic of....
-Brand X vs Jackson
-Bill Z Bub's/Babylon thread
-Troy Stetina's Speed Mechanics
-5150 vs Triple Rec vs VS100 vs DSL vs POD
-Who left Jackson for ESP this week
-The Gnu-Metal Band Of The Moment
-Has-beens who are trying for a comeback (VH, Velvet Revolver, etc)
-Trash-talking Anti-American EuroTeens
-The Spelling And Grammer Police
-Then there's the various Thread Hijackings
