Re: Post a Pic of your oldest Charvel and/or Jackson

I have two Jacksons that are both apparently 1989's. So I guess they tie for my "oldest Jackson" award.

Here they are. First up is a 1989 Strat 24 with a red lightning sky graphic:

And here's my tan snakeskin 1989 Dinky with a strathead neck:

Re: Post a Pic of your oldest Charvel and/or Jackson

Oldest C/J I have right now is the '88 Archtop Student Soloist. The guitar to the left is a '89 Soloist that I had retopped (Still being worked on) and to the right of the archtop is a 2003 SL2H. Kinda the earliest/oldest Jacksons I have.

Oldest guitar I have is a 50s harmony stratotone. Somewhere I have a pic of it and a 50s Tweed Princeton together... those two sounded awesome. Had to sell the princeton in the mid 90s to pay rent... still have the stratotone tho!

My two oldest: Charvel 750xl and Charvel 650xl. The 650 has an '88 serial number so I can only assume it was an early '89 650. Pictured next to my Hamer Mirage.

I have no idea, really. It's a moot point as I'm quite smitten with it, too, and will not part with it. I bought it in '89 for around $600.
