  • JCF-YCE vs. LTD

After spending some time with the search function, I've decided this might be faster. One of the previous threads got me thinking about this. What are the differences between the JCF-YCE 01 and the LTD Rhoads? I'm talking about the shorter wings, different inlays, bridges, neck profiles, toggle switch locations, etc. Basically could anyone give a list of the specs that make each model distinct from the other? Which is the more accurate representation of Randy's original V?

The '83 NAMM Rhoads (YCE) was just an idea when RR died - nothing had been decided other than the body shape. The neck profile of the YCE is 850-960 - thick like a classical.
Not sure of the LTD profile - probably like an LP.
The LTD is a more accurate representation of the Proto.

nah, the ltd has a basic rhoads profile from what i recall.

jcf 01 is basically an rr1T with different (old style) construction. it's the same size, and the ltd is much different.

sorry for lack of more details, but i'm wicked tired.
