I often wonder why we don't get plagued by the kind of dipshits that you see posting on Harmony Central, and some of the "kiddie" guitar boards (coughESPcough)

I think I joined in Feb 2002 (the original board). There weren't very many members, about 300 the best I recall. I had owned Charvels and Jacksons exclusively since the mid 80s, but thanks to the JCF I learned that I really didn't know a fukking thing about them (except that they were awesome axes!) I was selling a San Dimas Charvel on eBay and I guess my price was a little high!!
Anyhoo, the guitar sold on eBay and a couple of days later the guy backed out so I re-listed it. That's when the fun started
I started getting all these emails from members of this so-called "JCF" telling me that I had a shill bidder on the original auction, and the guitar wasn't worth near what I was asking, etc. So...I went to check out this "JCF" and found a thread where some dude was reaming my aS5hole about the Charvel deal. It pissed me off so I signed up with this forum just so I could tell these guys what a bunch of morons they were. Well, anyway, to make a long story short, I found out who the real moron was.....
Yup...I was the moron.
Anyway, I have no idea why I thought that this was the thread to tell this story but I enjoyed it!
The JCF is a very cool forum and there's a sh!tload of very knowledgeable folks here. It seems that every time I log on I learn something new about the guitars I love. Here's to the JCF

Well, this backfired horribly for them as about 100 or so of us created profiles on their site and commenced to kicking their collective asses on their board. It wasn't pretty

Within like 1/2 an hour, they were begging us to stop and to pull back the Nutnoose

If you like to talk about Jackson guitars, always good to go to some artists website who use/used Jackson guitars.
You will always find musicians section to talk about guitars.

Too bad Jackson does not promote themselves more. Guys like Rusty Cooley switched to Ibanez - that sucks for Jackson.
Not too business saavy as a company but they have killer guitars.

This forum is by far the best information source I've found for Jacksons. Only other forums I've found that are worth a darn have nothing to do with Jacksons. The guys at the Kramer guitar forum are cool and have a nice community like this one does and the Marshall amp forum is loaded with great info too.
