  • ID this guitar!

    Greets...

saw this in a local shop...

Charvel, screwy charvel headstoc. Bolt on, 10 digit serial. 24 fret, maple neck, dots, raw?oiled? neck, Duncans (Jazz/JB), vtrem...

I THINK its an old Charvel Standard? Confirmations?

He wants 175 out the door... should I bite?

    thanks,

"screwy" how? Like a PC-1 or a Strathead with no Ball?
Did the number start with 95?

          "Duncans (Jazz/JB)"

          Yes, those are humbuckers.

Gotta be a recent Standard then. The "old Charvel headstock" would be the pointy, or the "Strathead with no Ball" Buzzard Beak head (also on some Charvettes) - the head you're referring to is closer to the PC-1 and San Dimas ReIssue heads, and is used on the Journeyman model.

$175 for a Charvel Standard in good condition, I'd bite.
