Hey all, Just scored this sweet SL1. It's a 2001 and is absolutely mint as in never played - SWEET! It's real light and plays like a dream and sounds great too. Might be a keeper [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] Original owner changed the pickups to white. I will keep it like that for now but we'll see. God is good! Peace out -Frank

Hey Frank~ I am going to have to agree with the above folks.... Leave the white on there for awhile.... It kinds grows on ya.... Looks different and will look good on stage.

Paint the bridge black. Just take it apart and primer, color coat then clear it and it will be fine. I have a Jackson with factory painted Floyd done in such a way that has held up for 20 years.
