I never had any problems with the fretboard finish...feels just like a finished maple fretboard.

Wow! That Rhoads is wild looking! Good question....how does the fretboard paint hold up? Here's my checker, although not quite as crazy as the Rhoads, the color combo actually isn't that bad. Some will recognize it as the pre-pro that I restored a while back with a little help from some JCF and CC bros.

gotta agree on that rhoads, it is simply dazzeling, litteraly, I could almost not destingish between the front and the back. really unreal (souds weird [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img])
