        Re: In Memoriam...

As a Traditional Catholic, I would like to offer sympathies but also hope. I have to assume your mother died in the faith and had her last sacraments. My family will include your mother in our daily rosary intentions for her soul's repose. I would say to you that you remain in the faith, avail yourself of the sacraments as well, INCLUDING REGULAR MASS AND CONFESSION, teach this to your children (if you have them, remember our moms taught it to us) and be patient and you WILL see your mother again, In the same bosom you see our lord in his mother and ours on your guitar. That is a very tasteful tribute and public acknowledgement of our Holy Catholic Faith and I am impressed you would do this. God bless you.

I think you are one of a kind Joe, paying this glorious tribute to your mother. I think she was too, after reading the whole story now for the first time. I am sorry for your loss and i am sure that your positive attitude will carry you through.

That's a unique and loving tribute to your mother. She raised a very good son, I'd say, judging from what you did to honor her memory. I didn't see your original posting about her passing, so please accept my condolences and prayers for you and your family.

Joe, you got me all teary eyed here. Thats one of the most thoughtful things I have ever seen. I mean you are such a guitar fanatic and to pay tribute to your mother in that way is quite amazing. Thats very special. I am sure your mother is very proud of you, and she has very good reason to be.

                      Joe,
I lost my Dad to cancer 2 years ago. I'm still not over it. Never will be I suppose. He was a fortunate man. He didn't have to suffer long, and God granted him the gift of dieing at home, in his bed, with his wife by his side. I delivered his eulogy, which was the most important thing I have ever done in my life.

Guitars are a big part of your life. Paying tribute to your Mom in this way is very meaningful (and cool!). It's obvious how important this tribute is to you. What makes it even cooler is that you are also paying tribute to the Savior.....Very Cool!

I don't have the words to adequately express what you've done.

That is a moving and touching tribute to your mother.

I too am at a loss for words, except that is a beautiful tribute.

Commenting on the work too, which is fantastic.
