Mine's prepaid as well, but that's just for the room itself and the basic includes. They tack on the extras when you leave (non-included phone use, room cervix, etc) [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Be careful with those online sites.. I got screwed at winter NAMM as Todd could tell ya... Make sure your room is as stated on the website and get there to check in as early as you can

From the receipt:

"General Information:
NOTE: Your reservation is prepaid to Hotels.com, and the hotel has agreed that prepaid reservations booked through Hotels.com will be guaranteed for late arrival"

Even then, I know there's always the "clerical error" followed by "but we do have another room for slightly more money", in which case I'll be sure to press the issue with the manager on duty [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
I was asked on another board to refrain from "incindiary habits" - with a name that sounds like :

Well Matt with me when booking with Expedia I was supposed to have a room with 2 queen sized or 1 king sized bed. This was clearly written out in the form and when we got there and went into the room there was NO bed.... it turned out to be a pull out cot... no upgraded room, no money off my bill .. a basic fuck you deal with expedia who promptly told me they don't guarantee rooms..

Yep .. I printed the web receipt.. the problem was that expedia has contradictory statements on the webiste ..

We are booked in to ...Hotel Preston.....its a new hotel opened in Feb. 04. i hope its as nice as it looks. iI booked through ..ORBIZ.. i have booked alot of flights through them without a hitch, i hope this works out the same....and got my web recipt right here just in case [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

Hotels.com *did* state on all their listings that reservations were subject to availability (i.e. could be sold out, or double-booked at the less-reputable places), but that's to be expected, especially if the hotel in question has not provided updated booking info to the Network (i.e. Hotels.com, Orbitz, etc). These services depend on timely updates from the hotels, and it is entirely possible that someone will screw it up. It'll be that way until they finally get these things linked in real time, so that reservations and bookings are entered into the entire network immediately, instead of just into the hotel's computer, then dumped into the larger network at a later time.
