This may be old news for some, but I just finally picked up the new Dokken cd that came out earlier this year, Hell To Pay. It rocks!!:headbang: Their attorney, Jon Levin, is now their guitar player... he smokes!!!!! It says Jon uses Charvel guitars and Fender accessories, and he thanks Tim Wilson, Mike Shannon and others at Charvel, and there's a nice little Charvel logo, too. Re: Charvel/Fender props from Dokken!
Everything they've done without George Lynch has kicked ass! Reb Beach was awesome on Erase The Slate. John Norum was also awesome on Long Way Home, and the addition of Barry Sparks on bass made it great, too. They're one band I've loved since they came out in the '80s and I've never lost interest in them. I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Re: Charvel/Fender props from Dokken!
I was always a huge Dokken fan so I picked up Long Way Home a couple of months ago, since I hadn't really heard anything from them in awhile... It was Horrible!!! I only got thru the first 4 songs and just had to turn it off... Maybe I'll give it another shot in a few more weeks... I hope it was just a fluke...

Re: Charvel/Fender props from Dokken!
Even the last cd they did with George (Shadowlife) was bad.
Erase the Slate was definately better.
I have been a huge Dokken fan since the mid-eighties, but it just hurts to see them now.
Don looks terrible and sounds even worse.
Super nice guys, though.

I've always liked Dokken except for one guy - Don Dokken
Other than him, they're a great band.I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

Thanks for the heads up on the new CD. I've liked Dokken from the start, and still do. I'll have to check that out.
TNT was a fantastic band. I never understood why they didn't make it bigger than they did (I feel the same way about Badlands, Blue Murder and Cry of Love). Ronni Le Tekro is amazing.

Re: Charvel/Fender props from Dokken!
I have been a fan of Dokken since 1983. Out of all of the LA bands I thought Dokken had better songs and George was head and shoulders above everyone else on guitar. I have 95% of their album catalogue. I am missing some of the eps George has put out. For those of you who want to hear what Dokken may have sounded like now get the Lynch/Pilson cd. You can tell they were the two major writers for Dokken. Erase the Slate was the best non Lynch album. There is a thread on here somewhere showing Levins' Charvels.

Yes, it was! That's certainly my favorite Dokken album.
