• NAMM Passes and "Posepatrol"

For the Record, My Name is Casey McNerney, I grew up here in the San Fernando Valley, My first Real Guitar was a Charvel Pre-Pro. I have been coming on here for awhile now. I have posted before just to see what I wrote get deleted.

I label Myself as a "Guitar Guy". I used to talk to Rob Lane quite abit, and used to deal with Joel ( I think he still has Jeff Duncan- Odin's White Kelly) with Gear and Artists Guitar Picks Years ago.

I used to Buy from Lee Garver Prior to GMW taking off. And still to this day send everyone I know to him.

I haven't contributed much to the board because I enjoy reading what you guys write, I'm content being Jealous of all the fine pieces you all have scored. And actually plan on Ordering some Custom Shops from Lee next Year (I'm 6'6).

I, by all means am not a Newbie that JUMPED in to get passes. I have been out of the Music scene for sometime, and would greatly enjoy going to the show.

I'm usually the first guy at the bar to buy a "Round" if you see me, that is if I still get my passes, I will buy for anyone who asks.

Again, I have this site as my homepage, and I thank everyone that keeps this up in running.

Regards,

Casey ( Posepatrol)

Cool, I remember Odin, I used to go see them at Fender's in Long Beach.

Re: NAMM Passes and \"Posepatrol\"

Hey, man. Nothing personal. Nobody ever said you weren't a cool guy or weren't deserving of the passes on your own. You were an unknown.

The gripe was that you weren't an active participant or contributor to the JCF. And yet, you jumped at the first chance to benefit from a rare opportunity that was solely intended for contributors to this forum. ...Notice those passes weren't made available to the general public by FMIC or J/C officials? They were intended for forum members.

Hang out and contribute to the forum a bit, and everyone would have been cool. And welcome to the Board.

My 2cents:
The guy giving away the passes is a Jr. member.
He said the 1st 10 people to post.
Didn't say anything about "No Jr. members"
Give him the passes...

Re: NAMM Passes and \"Posepatrol\"

The guy giving away the passes dosen't have to have ANY post count awards to earn our respect.

The passes are gifts of good will towards the people at the Jackson Charvel Forum that make it the great forum it is. In order for those people to make this a great forum, they have to contribute and participate. This means giving as well as getting, not just speaking up after a year of lurking cause something is available for free that you want.

I agree whole-heartedly with Chuck. And more to the point, I kinda like the fact that Morgan's post count is low. It shows that when he's at work, he's actually working, unlike the rest of us who are at work and posting on the JCF all day.

Welcome Posepatrol. No malice is intended, but I'm sure you've seen, we're a tight-knit community. As a whole, I think we prefer that those who reap the spoils of the forum also take an active role in it.
