yeah it's a dean. iirc when dime went to washburn (after seeking for dean zelinsky to buy guitars directly from him) he said he wants an exact replica of that old Deann (blue + lightning bolt)

Jackson should definitely try to get Jeff Hanneman back - he's now signature-less in ESP + he still loves his old SL2h as far as he said in some interview. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Jackson doesnt need to endorse anyone. Just do what Dean does and list people you dont even have to imply that they play your guitars...........
As for Dime, he got the boot, he didnt leave. Appearently he was pissed off about it too..........

washburn just bought parker. the press release i saw made it sound like they wanted to put the money into developing the parker brand (ergo let DIME go)

Dimes guitars were also not selling. They were working on changes to the models, and even tried a V. Nothing was selling that was associated with Dime.........

Dean and Krank? Wow, I guess Dime isn't the hot endorser he used to be. How can he take the Dime Model design to Dean when he originally stole it from them to begin with???

From what I saw of the Washburn Dime models they were getting a bit overpriced for what they were. I'm not a fan but I'm glad to see him with Dean, almost as good as a Jackson.

I personally think Jackson should be going after these new crop of metal bands coming out of the US here. The guys that ESP are ending up with usually. Great move on getting the dude from Lamb Of God but there's a huge crop of players coming up in that or similar veins that could he benificial to the Jackson brand.

Also, I think Jackson should try to assert themselves as the shredder's axe. A lot of really amazing shredders are Jackson devotees and I think it would be great if they tamed with them showing that if you play extreem or want to Jackson is hte way to go.
