I found pics of this on my computer... Black Cherry RR1 with EMGs. Someone here owns it and sent me the pics a year or so ago wanting to sell it or trade, but I can't remember who. Anyone????

I like the pickguards on the RRs as well. They look goofy without them.

hmm, If I were to order a CS Rhoads, it would be without the pickguard, I hate those things on all guitars

I like them, too. If I were to order one from the Custom Shop, I'd probably get it without it, though.

I don't mind pickguards on solid finishes, however, I don't like them with a flame, quilt or graphic finish. I'd rather see the wood or graphic in that case. I personally think they should've back-routed the electronics cavity on the RR-1. BTW, that black cherry finish is awesome.
