Thanks for the update. I was mildly curious how things were going, and I even forgot about them for a time. It's best to let him get them out when he gets them out, we don't want something subpar.

Thanks guys...that makes me feel better. I've taken this on and want it to go as smoothly as possible...I'm holding a decent chunk of change from everyone and don't wanna lose any trust...so I'm glad to hear all positives from you guys! Thanks!

last year i had to wait 4 months - not 4 weeks for mine.

and it was worth the wait.

just be patient we'll all get them and everyone here will wish that we didn't cause we won't shut up about them.

Yeah sounds like John's estimate is going to be more accurate.
I just hung up the phone with Mel. Here in Chicago last week we had a major snowstorm...dumped up to a foot of snow here and the streets were horrible...schools closed etc. Well Mel is handicapped and he was telling me how he couldn't get around last week due to the storm so the shop was pretty much closed down....but he did assure me that they will be calling me as soon as they are ready for pickup so we can get the entire order at once. No real estimate when that is though, but he is working on them. Just a quick update for us....

NOPT...definitely get a couple good soldering lessons going so you can practice up a bit before these arrive. It's fairly easy once you get used to how the solder flows in certain conditions.
Cerastine...yeah that was you...I remember reading that post...I couldn't believe it! I was pissed for you...that was a great deal from Drum City...I've been wanting a KV2T for a while...

Mel called me on my way home from work and said the order is almost complete. He wanted to confirm they were all in black etc. So I'm thinking most likely early next week these will be ready for shipping.
I'll keep everyone informed on the status.
