Rock and porn are very similar and inextricably entwined. If that's distasteful to you, sitck with jazz - where it's heroin instead of slutty babes.

[/ QUOTE ]Fwiw, jazz was the rock of the early 20th century. It pissed all the religious folk off because it was tied so strongly to sex. Even the word "jazz," when used as a verb, meant "f*ck." Take a look here for a few other interesting jazz terms: http://69.5.7.106/board/showthread.p...threadid=56540Btw, girls may go for the rock stars, but jazz gets the real women off. All it takes is a few measures before they wet themselves, especially if you can sing.

[/ QUOTE ]It may seem like I was knocking jazz, but that's not really the case. I was referring to the fact that rockers and metalheads are more rambunctious. Jazz has become mostly a middle-aged person's thing, though I imagine there are a number of youngsters who dig it too.I don't mind it but it's not really energizing to me like rock and metal are. Just a preference, and I'm of middleage myself, but I never felt I had to "grow out" of rock or "grow into" jazz. To each their own and enjoy yourself. Heroin HAS always been DEEPLY associated with jazz, though, even more than with rock, so it seemed a valid observation. I'm sure the ladies of jazz melt to a good singer; MILFs in their mid-40s are at their sexual peak, and knowing menopause is up in a few years, they are going to get laid like there's no tomorrow. But will they let you snort coke off their tight asses? Two different kinds of joy!

Hell, Jackson ought to take it to the next level of cross marketing and start making J/C-branded adult toys, like KV-shaped dildos.

[/ QUOTE ]A fine idea indeed. This way I would NEVER have to speak to my wife again. She would be using the KV dildo, of course. Her. Not me.

[/ QUOTE ]I notice you didn't say she wouldn't be using it ON you!

as silly as it sounds, i'll take the RR, I dont have to worry about it's occupation being detrimental to my health. As well I'm quite happy with my wife, no need to swap her for another.

Am I the only one here that wants their guitars associated with competent players, NOT some skank that makes her $$$ by having spuzz shot on her face by 50 guys in 1 "scene"?

this is too damn true.
XXXX sucks a dick, gets in ozzfest, gets an 'esp' (spelled LTD), gets in GW

its not 'Jackson' its not for 'music' its not for 'the artists' its 'marketing'.
its no coincidence the two have pretty much the same demographics, and thats why shes straddling the wares.
Id much rather look at her then a topless PC/EVH.
Its obvious a pornstars career isnt going to last forever, and hers has ran a mammoth course, modelling will be some extra cash for her retirement/therapy/rehab/whatever.
Still, ill be buying this thing when I see it, watching it, proudly boasting the spokesperson for my brand is a pornstar, and mentally adding 'professional' to the headstock and giggling like a heroin-f**kd jazz player

Re: Jenna and Jackson again

So in both Jazz and punk rock, as soon as you make a big honkin' pile of money you can no longer belong to the genre? I wonder how either genre can afford all the drugs they do then? Oh yeah! DEALING! Jazz, like metal, has so many subgenres that you can't really say Kenny G doesn't belong to one, like pop jazz or cool jazz or whatever they call the real mellow stuff.Just as Avril is pop punk, and Bon Jovi was pop metal in the 80s, the labels are more for outsiders' benefit than for those immersed in the genre. Hell, metalheads will argue all day about what genre Dimmu Borgir is, or if they're "troo" metal at all! Whatever happened to just saying you don't like a band, without trying to disposessthem of the whole style for which they come? Music fansand players are more obsessed with labels than archaeologists or geologists these days. Fact is, most people who casually listen to all genres don't care that much about the "heavy" stuff, they just want something they can hum or groove to. With genre-based tunnelvisionit's easy to forget that most people have never heard of, let alone give a rat's ass about, most of the artists wedig.

Miles Davis intervew:

"Miles, I want you to listen to some music and tell me what you think." (plays Kenny G.)

"Turn that **** off! That's the worst music ever recorded."

"Well, how do you feel that your later music is considered to have inspired the whole smooth jazz phenomenon?"

"**** you. Next question."

whoo! Go Pat!! I was pretty much of the same mind - that I could care less about what Kenny G does (or doesn't), it has no bearing on me as there are already so many fantastic jazz musicians out there that I can enjoy, if the mindless masses want to by Kenny's tripe, they can have at it. But that whole Armstrong debacle?! Woooof! Metheny just said a mouthful
