Actually, it's not a disruption. It is a Jackson Disruptor. Kevin Easton had been hanging on to this one. When I called to talk to him about Big Red shipping I nagged him about buying it (again). He said "it's hanging on the wall". I said "take it down"!. And here it is. This thing is way cool. Sounds good. The setup needs tweaking but I'll do that in a couple days once it's had a chance to recover from whatever it had to endure while being tortured by UPS. As usual my pictures suck but you get the idea.

At first sight I think that's the ugliest damn guitar I've ever seen in my life. Maybe it's because I don't understand it. Could someone explain it to me in a way that would make me appreciate it? If the story is real cool I may end up wanting one, but till then it's going to be ugly to me. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

It's pretty cool. It's wide too. I would describe the neck as chunky. My '54 RI Les Paul is THICK - more like a baseball bat on that thing.

The guitar was designed by Amir Derakh of Rough Cutt fame. The one I got is a prototype of some sort. According to Amir's website, he was working with Jackson to have a limited run done but that never came about. Maybe this is the prototype for that - I don't know. Me, I just think it's cool.
