I believe he used his Roswellian Star. Basically a Roswell Rhoads but with an extra Explorer/Star/Kelly horn shaped to the Roswell Rhoads flavor to create the lower cutaway. Here is a pic:

Not that it was needed (for your own personal use)
But Amir designed all of his more recent Jacksons so that they were Roland-ready. I was going to ask the same question.

Hmmmm. I guess that short answer is that this is one of those guitars you either love or hate. I personally think its rather horrible (I think Amir should stick to Charvel seconds for his "designing" cuz THOSE guitars rule!), but to each his own and i can see why people would want one (there was I time a long time ago where all I wanted was Vs - now they sit in there cases for months on end).
