• Retro Red and Retro Green?

Does anyone have pics of these colors? They are listed as options on the "Color Codes" page in the current Charvel price list.

I'm weighing options for an order, and wondering what these both look like. Actually, I'm wondering if "Retro Green" is the same as the "Slime Green" on Shannon Soloists.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure, but I would think the retro green is like seafoam or surf green.

Maybe. But I'm thinking probably not, as Seafoam is also listed.

I thought Retro Green was more like 7up green from 88-89 Fenders?

Hmm, now I'm even more confused.

Wouldn't retro green be like Dweezil Zappas green pointy or Vais green meanie??

Well, I'm guessing they're probably something like that, Chuck. But WTF do I know?

No way I'm going to consider ordering a color I've never seen before. ...On a guitar, color swatch, something! What do they look like? Until the price list was put out, I had never even HEARD of colors named that.

Re: Retro Red and Retro Green?

Retro Red is basically like Big Red, but just a little bit lighter, sometimes and orange-red. I've seen various shades of what people call Retro Red. Retro Green, is like a faded, lighter Slime Green. Saying 7-UP Green isn't much of a stretch.

It might be better to wait and see. They'll probably have examples at the next NAMM show.
