I personally like gold hardware as well, but it turns a lot of people off apparently. I think they find it gaudy. I think the dealers can change the hardware color for you and then ship it out to you. This way, everybody gets what they want! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I guess adding Gold pickup rings would be enough then.
Actually, I have seen limited Chroline Roswell and Chroline Soloist done by Vwall and Guitarexpress so why not just have simple Black color limited instead...

I went a little crazy and created the 24-fret chlorine Rhoads as described in Matt's last reply, with and without red bevels... [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Imagine the quilt top, I have no idea how to insert one into the Custom Shop Generator. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

24 fret Rhoads...Distortion, Jazz, Black, Gold Hardware, Abalone inlays, inlay at 24th fret if possible, I don't mind the pickguard if it's gold.

Deneb - My "Yuck" was for the chlorine mockup, not your spec list. I actually think the black 24 fret Rhoads with Duncans, gold hardware, abalone inlays and a pickguard sounds cool.

Oops! Forgot to take off the pickguard. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I was using the pickguard as a reference point for the control knobs. Matt, if you do Deneb's idea, you will have a winner. Gold OR black hardware, your choice. I like both schemes. Pickguard or no pickguard, I like both too. I am totally digging Deneb's idea.
