A koa 2-hum Shannon, koa 24-fret Rhoads, or koa Charvel Strathead would be all awesome next to my koa Taylor K14c...
Wait wait wait, you can't have them all at once.
You need the Koa Rhoads, Then the Koa Soloist/Shannon, then the Koa Strathead...why? If they all came out at once, I could forsee many people going into debt for them, release them over a year or 2, and well, a little less debt!
Allright, I'm into the 24 fret Rhoads idea. What are the specs?
Speaking of RR, I just opened the latest copy of Guitar One and there's a list of the top 10 worst guitar tones ever recorded. They have Randy as # 10 and Satriani as # 4 or so. What the hell is up with that??????

How about this funky looking Rhoads?
Will be great as new Rhoads series guitar! CLICK HERE PLEEEEEEEEZZZZ
I thought Randy and Satch had great tones. Satch isn't called the "Master Of Tone" for no reason. I guess that's part of the reason why I don't read guitar magazines on a daily basis and would rather subscribe to an online forum such as the JCF... Specs on the 24-fret Rhoads? Everything the same as the current RR1/RR1T except two added frets and the neck pickup moved over to accommodate the extra frets. Perhaps Duncan Distortion bridge and Duncan Jazz neck pickups. Maybe no pickguard but I wouldn't mind either way. Just trying to keep it somewhat very close to the regular RR1/RR1T. Matt, I will send you some e-mails with specs of RR24
It's just a simple RRV with 24frets with variations of colors such as Black body with White bevels,Red Bevels,Green pin stripes, Yellow Bevels,Yellow Stripes, Blue stripes and so on....
With or without Floyd.

24 frets. Ebony Board. Sharkies! Bound Fretboard, see if they can put the inlay at the 24th Fret!!! That'd be great.
Maybe Abalone inlays...okay maybe I'm going too far!
When you do a LE run, you have to get all the same color right? Maybe a black sparkle, or gun metal grey, or maybe a black with gold hardware! Oh man, possibilities endless.
I'll tell you one thing. If there is a LE Rhoads run, and it's USA and 24 frets, if the specs are right, and we can put enough people in to make it affordable, I'm all over it!
Capitol one, what's in your wallet?
Visa, it's everywhere you want to be.
Mastercard. For everything else, there's mastercard.
If Matt can have enough people who would be interested in, maybe he could do several versions of these to choose from such as
Model #1- Black RRV 24frets with Floyd
Model #2- The same as above but with String thru
Model #3- Black RRV 24frets with Bevels or pin Stripes(maybe Red or White) with Floyd
Model #4- The same as above but with string thru
That's my guitar right there! Gotta have everything black and as normal as possible to keep it simple and possibly the costs down.
Wow, we have some friggin' great ideas in the past few posts here! Normally by now, a LOT of other people would have chimed in with their own ULTIMATE DREAM GUITAR which is unrealistic if a few dozen of them need to be built and be SOLD most importantly. I am totally for the philosophy of TINY SIMPLE CHANGES like adding two frets or a simple pickup layout change or a different paint scheme. This way, people are familiar with how the guitar might play and sound compared with the standard USAs but with the extra little tiny bonus that they need to make the guitar perfect! YES!!!!!!!
Sometimes a real ultimate guitar can be as simple as that!
24fret Rhoads in Black.. that's it!
And no pickguard please.
Kevin, Soloist Chroline would be cool too espeacially with reverse head and inlays!
Another cool variation of SL2H!
If they can do reverse headstock with Import guitars, why not with U.S. models?

Kevins sounds good, but I think a Black Rhoads, with Gold hardware (gotta have something setting us above, and it's really not too much more $$$ when you've got 15-20+ people into the deal.)
Man Black with gold (kind of like an RR5), I don't know if string thru or floyded yet, that's a tough call for me.
