I'm definitely interested in hooking up on a 24 fret RR no pickguard. Other than that, I'm pretty flexible on the options. To those interested we should start a thread...throw some ideas around see if we can agree on something [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I think if this will be with Rhoads, most important thing will be if it will be 24fret or not.
Matt would need to talk with his rep and find out.
I don't think people will want to pay CS price just for that.
If Matt could keep the price as lower as other production models, I think a lot of people would be interested in.

I already have H/H/H style configuration on there thanks to the Hot Rails. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Unless it's sold already, maybe I should think about picking up that dual hum Shannon with the backwards headstock logo from NAMM... [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] If it were black and had a normal logo, I'd be all over it! Shannon Soloist with 2 hums sounds great but so many details will change from a normal SL2H such as binding over frets, non recessed trem, heel of the neck and so on.
That would be a real custom shop work.. plus Mike Shannon to sign these..

I think these limited guitars I have seen, you really can not change so many things.
If you did, it will end up as 3K guitar that noone will want to buy...
Let's face it.
If Matt can convince Jackson to do the 24fret Rhaods for the same price as production model and if these sell fast, I am sure Jackson will consider to do that as real production model....why not.
That is the benefit of Jackson letting these dealers to do the limited edition to study the market... I think. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

It is the same reason Jackson should consider moving Chroline finish as regular model color instead of only for PC1.
I have seen many limited guitars have this finish that people seem to like it.

If anyone wants anything custom done like bevels, or like me, blood splatter... white is the perfect color.

Plus a one hum floyded rev USA wouldn't be so many changes. Simple and clean looking... I'd definitely buy one of them too.

Toru, the Shannon II isn't supposed to be a variation of the SL2H, it's a variation on the regular Shannon. Would they not use the original template and copy everything about it except the pickup routing? But anyways, I'd rather get an RR24, given a choice. A lot more people would want it and it's a lot more realistic at this point. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
