archtop firebirds

whats the deal with these, ive seen some pictures in the gallery, but i havent seen one that displays the archtop. Does anybody have some really good pictures. Also, are these huge or is it just me.

There are at least 4 that I know of...all were trans Ox Blood red quilt tops.

1 of those was made for Dave Mustaine.

I believe Brad Kelley has 2 of them & a guy named Jim Steiger owns one.

The was one of the 4 for sale in a store in London a few years back: From what I remember, the top wasn't arched to the extent of a soloist artchtop, it was more like a Ibanez satriani 'rounded' type of thing.....it was a whole bunch of cash though!

the bodies have a radius to them, kinda like a fretboard. the import bodies did too.
