Heads up: Looks like Jemsite is being hacked

I know this is off topic but I know a bunch of folks hang at Jemsite as well. I've been getting a steady stream of clearly goofball e-mail from Jemsite from "Hacked by Limp_Bizkit". Now it looks like the Jemsite forum is getting hammered.

There is a pretty rampant worm out right now that is infecting sites that use php.

On reading more it looks like this site is safe. It appears to be only affecting sites that use phpBB. This site is using UBB.Threads. The only problem that may occur is on shared servers. If one website on a server is infected it is affecting all sites on that server. I would make sure you at least have a good backup if your on a shared server and can't do anything about it.

I had just surfed to jemsite and all it gave me was the startpage, couldn't enter the forums. i thought : what the ...? Atleast now i now what's going on. Thx for the heads up Hippietim

Yeah, 2 of my sites got hacked and became a portal for spammers.
