Is your SG a wine red color or more of a walnut finish? A friend of mine had an SG from about the same period as yours and his was a rather unusual walnut color. I was wondering if yours was the same. Either way, very nice collection you got going - it covers a lot of bases.

Excellent- very heavy, powerful with the bridge pickup. The neck pickup sounds very clean and warm when played fingerstyle.

Thanks- I grew up in Falmouth, went to college at UMaine in Orono, and now live in Ellsworth and work in Bar Harbor. Where were you in Maine?

It's a dark, natural finish. Dark brown- not sure what "walnut" looks like (color challenged).

I was born in Bar Harbor, lived there for a bunch of years and moved to the BIG city of Bangor as a teen. Went to UMO as well....nice to find another local [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
