Re: Is there a Charvel Rhoads?
The Charvel Avenger came out in 1990 and was a bolt on version. However, it should be noted that the Jackson Rhoads was the first Jackson and was referred to as a Charvel by Randy himself in interviews. Since the Charvel name was at possible risk Grover labeled the headstock with his own name to avoid any potential "harm" to the established name."Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,

Er,
That's probably a Japan only model, V. The Charvel Avenger had a H-S layout, trem, and a 22 fret dot inlay neck:

Re: Is there a Charvel Rhoads?
There's also another version, with the standard Charvel guitar logo... brass hardware, 22 fret, basically a model series with a string thru TOM and 2 hums that was much higher quality than the Avenger, but not quite as nice as that toothpaste logo variant, which I agree, was probably only available in Japan. The 2nd Amendment: America's Original Homeland Defense.
