Re: New Jackson Models NAMM 05

The Kevin Bond RR looks awsome, spec wise. Might look into em once I see it.

BTW, does anyone know that EMG offers a 7 string version of the 81? The 707 is a 7 string version of the 85, not 81. I didn't know this, and everywhere I turn everyone is puttin the 707 in the bridge. The 81-7string isn't as widely advertised, you gotta special order it, but I don't think it's more than the 707. Just curious to know if people know about it and still prefer to put the 707 in the bridge.

YEEHAAW!!!
Mahogany!!!

I was scared to even mention loudly that I wish these (or at least the Olde Wolbers sig) to be made of mahogany...
now I'm really seriously considering getting the DK-6!

At least if no Charvel 750XL comes my way until I'm able to order it...

The Bond V sounds interesting. I am taking a "wait and see" on it though.

I'm seriously disappointed to hear FMIC is making 25 original Rhoads LTD's........ shame on you !!! That was a sacred model promised to never be produced again. I've lost the last remaining little bit of respect I had..... totally disgusted if it's an LTD reproduction.

25 Original Vintage Randy Rhoads BLACK w/Pinstripes (not white as the LTDs)

Please read before you go off on some rant about how Fender is ruining Jackson, Its rather annoying to only read negativity from someone.

I suppose the two sig models are case-less ? how will you dealers proceed to ship'em ?

They shouldn't even make one hummed guitars.

If you don't like the 2nd hum, take it out, put tape over the hole or something.

I have a better idea. ..make em all 1 hum and if you want more buy a dremel tool and a template ...

Cases are available and around 75-80$ each, I´m sure the dealers will tell you almost the same

The 707 is actually like a cross between the 85 and 81. The 7-string 81 was just only in the Stephen Carpenter ESP models, but I think you can get it separately now.

I'm kinda getting in here late in the show, but the idea of the DK7 and DK6 got me all tickled. Looks like I have found my next 2 guitars.
