BTW, does anyone know that EMG offers a 7 string version of the 81? The 707 is a 7 string version of the 85, not 81. I didn't know this, and everywhere I turn everyone is puttin the 707 in the bridge. The 81-7string isn't as widely advertised, you gotta special order it, but I don't think it's more than the 707. Just curious to know if people know about it and still prefer to put the 707 in the bridge.

The 707 is actually like a cross between the 85 and 81. The 7-string 81 was just only in the Stephen Carpenter ESP models, but I think you can get it separately now.

Oh, ok. I guess with everyone putting an 85 in their bridge these days it's not too far off then if the 707 is a cross from both of em. Ok, cool
