I'm going to jump out here and say Yes. I'm not an expert on Charvels, but based on my research and reading, this is true. In the beginning it was Wayne, Grover, and I forget (Boogie Bodies, founder, my mind is blank right now), not Ken Warmoth, but other guy. Anyway, they were making Strat replacement bodies for the aftermarket. Later artists, such as EVH, wanted something different in a Strat, so they started building one-off's with front and rear routed control, standard Stratocaster bodies.

I just remembered, I think it was Lynn Ellsworth (Boogie Bodies)

I think some of the comfort comtours are different, but I´m no expert on SD Charvels

The body curves should be the same as a Fender, just the bevels are different, as was stated.

I think the early San Dimas Charvels are very similar, but the models you have linked have (I think) slightly sharper edges -- but I could be wrong
