• Is Willy Houston famous? :-)

The name "Willy Houston" is stamped inside the neck joint (on the body) in my 1987 Jackson serial #2058.

I was wondering if he is a legendary Jackson guitar builder, or is he totally unknown? In other words, does this make my guitar any more valuable?

Thanks

Who?
I have never seen/heard that name before.
I bet Whitney Houston is more popular..

Sounds like a fake body then

Jackson builders only did their initials, not their names.

That could have been put there by a former owner for ID purposes in case it was stolen.

Seems as though there's a few full names stamped on other people's guitars, according to some posts on the other "initials" thread.

The only thing that will make it more valuable than normal is if it's pre-Fender.

Just kidding.
