      Having owned both, I voted for the Soloist. I bought a KV2 thinking I'd love the neck profile, and I was wrong. The body shape was comfortable for me, and looked cool, but the speed neck just didn't work out. Traded it for a Soloist and am much happier.

        I voted soloist, simply because of in a small space, you will end up playing the soloist more. Especially if you are recording, it is easier to keep a soloist on your lap and then hop back to protools and then back to the soloist.

              I am a V hound and voted as such. I have had V's and Explorers since the early 80's and nothing says rock like pointy guitars. [img]/images/graemlins/band.gif[/img] They are great for sitting or standing and look killer live.
