I own the DK2LE and the DXMG ... so I guess those. My fav would be the DXMG, I suppose. Of course, I've modified mine:

The DKMGT, because it kicks ass, is string-thru, has a great neck and, most of all, kicks ass. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Although I prefer the KVX10 about every Pro or MG series model I've played. Haven't tried a RR5 yet, and wouldn't want to pay the price for one of them anyways.

And no, I don't care for floyds. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Guess it would have to be the DK2. DK1 is my current favorite production model so DK2 would be the closest to it from the series you mentioned.

What´s wrong with chrome hardware?
I got one with chrome and one with black hardware but both work well.

SL3. Neck-through with Floyd owns all of Jacksons import guitars. I think the DXMG/DK2 tie for a distant 2nd place.

SLSMG - neckthru, mahagony, ebony fretboard, string-thru, archtop. Pretty much my ideal guitar!

er I forgot about SLSMG. If you don't like Floyds (you must be crazy!) then that one is by far the best.

I prefer the looks of black or golden hardware. For some reason, chrome hardware looks cheap to me, although it's always the same tuners and JT580LP bridge on all Japanese models.

all time Favorite = SL4, 22 fret, neck-thru.


If we are talking about current models I would have to say the DKMG w/floyd. I just wish it had sharkies and a downward pointy headstock. I choose this guitar mainly because of the archtop w/floyd. It would be killer if these were neck-thru.

If I were to buy new it would be the SLSMG.But overall favorite would be the 90-91 Archtop Pros.

I agree the AT Pros by far have to be the best [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

I do like my DRVS PRO as well though [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
